Ksamil
The village of Ksamil is part of Butrint National Park and the municipality of Saranda, Albania's southernmost city.
Ksamil itself is located further south still, off the road to Butrint, and was originally built in 1966. Despite its small beach, today it is one of the most popular beach destinations for local and foreign tourists, even making The Guardian’S best bargain beach holidays list in 2013.
The eponymous islands are only a short boat ride away and constitute one of the main attractions of the area.
